Refunds will now be delivered electronically (such as direct deposit).<\/p>\n<p>It is important to note that, despite some media reports, the IRS <strong>continues to accept paper checks from individuals for federal income taxes owed.<\/strong> Taxpayers may still remit payments by check unless and until the IRS issues official guidance changing this policy.<\/p>\n<p>Tax Power will continue to monitor IRS announcements and provide timely updates to ensure our clients have accurate information.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Effective September 30, 2025, the IRS and U.S. Treasury have discontinued issuing paper refund checks, except in limited special circumstances. &hellip;
